Memories...

MY BABY HAS NOW BEEN SOLD. THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE'S INTEREST.

Never thought i would see this day when i have to put my beloved up for sale. She has been my pride and joy for the last 6 years and 5 months but as with all good things, the time has come to say goodbye.

REASON FOR SALE
For a very simple and practical reason... We have just moved into our new place and it's 5 mins away from our office. Silvia is our 2nd car and there can no longer be any justification for having 2 cars when both husband and wife work in the same office that is 5 mins away from the home.

ASKING PRICE
My asking price for this piece of sweetness is S$47,000. It might seem like an awful lot to pay for a car with only one more year of COE left but here are all the reasons why this is an Excellent Buy!

A) Scrap Value at 17th Aug 2009 is S$29,000. If you renew COE at an assumed price of S$10,000 same time next year, you would be able to drive it at only S$5,300 depreciation a year. If you choose to renew COE now (current COE renewal price is S$7,390), the depreciation is S$5,400 per year. You cannot find an S15 on Singapore roads going at such a low depreciation ever! Also, this is one of the two S15s that came into Singapore in 1999 before LTA raised the exhaust emissions standards so the next COE S15 to come along will be 2 years time in 2011. If you can't quite figure out the maths, email me!

B) The engine mileage now is just over 75k only. It's our second car and is driven mostly on weekends!

C) 9 years old and this car has not had any major accidents.... just the usual scraps here and there. Send it to your mechanic and your mechanic will verify that the chassis is as good as it was when it first arrived on our shores.

D) As of last dyno, my babe is doing close to 400bhp and 460NM Torque... and with a weight of 1240kg, this is a supercar killer.... for a short distance race of course :p Dyno figures are from Autotronics.

E) This car is RARE! In my 6 years of driving it, the number of heads that have turned to see this car has been uncountable... this may sound shallow but i tell ya... you feel that pride swelling big time when people on the streets, in the next car, turn to take a better look at you and your car. It's afterall a 2 door, Rear Wheel Drive, Sports car... not your usual EVO or STi which people see a million times a day on the roads...

F) This car has only seen 2 owners. First owner drove it for 3 years. Current one driven it for 6 years 4 months! Testimony to how lovable this car is.

As you can see, this car was built for racing and drifting! Bring this babe up to the tracks and it will delight you with hours of orgasmic pleasure!
Do take note that as this car has only 9 months left before it's COE expires, you will most likely be unable to get a bank loan for this, unless it's a small loan amount you are taking over 9 months. But seriously, for the ridiculously low depreciation you will get from buying this car, I would seriously try to look for some funding to lay my hands on this piece of metal!
And if you need more info, here are the relevant information as at 18 Dec 2008
A) COE Renewal = S$7,390
B) Paper Value = S$32,159
